If there’s one thing we love, it’s an engagement. And if you’ve been a reader of Behind the Veil, Beyond the Vows for any length of time, you also know that we love a good celebrity love story. And we were thrilled to learn that our 2nd favorite member of the Destiny’s Child dynasty, Letoya Luckett, is engaged.

She took to Instagram to show off her gorgeous oval rock and publicly announce her engagement to Dallas entrepreneur Tommicus Walker in a post that read

“I said , ” Yes yeeeesssss” on his Burfday!! #issaengagement #GodShowedout #HesaGoodManSavanah #LoveWins #8/16/17.”

And she looks over the moon with happiness..not to mention, how CUTE he is…proving, once again, love does really win!

Where Did He Pop the Question? On the river in Little Falls, which is a scenic overlook located on the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire.

Anticipated Wedding Date: Let me just say, to all the newly engaged ladies out there, wait until the calm passes to discuss a potential wedding date with your fiance. In other words, chill out, give the guy a break because he’s just done something that’s kind of a high stressed big deal. Somehow, I sold Kyle on the idea of eloping, but I didn’t mean to. So, we’ve compromised and plan on doing a destination wedding in the first half of 2013.
